VIZSLA

The Vizsla is lightly built but muscular, giving them speed and endurance. Their gait is light, graceful, smooth, and ground covering. Their short smooth coat is dense, providing some protection from the elements. Their golden rust color is a hallmark of the breed.

Health concerns: Generally healthy, but can be prone to certain health conditions, such as hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, eye problems, and allergies.

VIZSLA CARE

According to The Vizsla Club of America, Hungarian Vizslas are believed to be among the oldest hunting dogs, known for being natural athletes and eager to please. This high-energy and intelligent breed requires regular mental and physical stimulation, which can include activities such as jogging, swimming, and agility training. 


HUNGARIAN VIZSLAS ARE FAST

With their impressive speed, Hungarian Vizslas are considered to be incredibly fast, with some studies suggesting they can reach speeds close to 40mph. For comparison, the world's fastest dog, the Greyhound, has been recorded at just over 41mph, although it is estimated that they can reach up to 45mph.
